This war of mine custom characters2/12/2024 Anton makes your traps produce a little faster, so you get more food.Ĭveta is GREAT with kids, if you have a kid, get Cveta. In general keep these survivors in shelter to make the kid happy and to do chores, like making water and building stuff.Īnton and Cveta, generally seen as useless works great as extra hands. Now with the DLC, you will get children either alone or with an adult. Then the best survivor recruits are Arica or Roman, and used ONLY for combat runs, scavenging only weapons and ammo, vests and helmets ( and weapon parts) due to their small inventory.Īnyone else will be acting as more hands and perfom more tasks. If the game "sets you up" so that you really have to fight somewhat, make sure you know what kills are considered "good" like the bandits in the warehouse, or the snipers. If you CAN avoid fighting, the best recruit is Boris or Roman, simply for guarding shelter.Įveryone else is just additional hands, they will cost food, but you have more people and thus can do more tasks each day. Later you will at least one more survivor show up at you door, here is where you really choose if you fight or not. Now it depends mostly on what you build and where you go to loot. Now you have plenty scavenging with Marko, trade dicount with Katiia and a low food cost with Bruno, All bonuses are great. I have found that for me and how I decide (usually) to play this team is the best one for me. Martin/Electric engineer is a bit reduntant, but all other combos work well. Meanwhile the pharmicist can double the number of meds you can make, as they use half the med components. The electric engineer gets a HUGE bonus to anything that uses electric parts, and these are the same things that are the most expensive things Martin gets bonuses for. Manufacturers: Martin, Forester, Electric engineer, and Pharmicist all get spots here, with the Electric engineer and Pharmicist getting the nods for the best combo. Bruno is the only one who reduces the amount of water you use, for both meals and moonshine.ģ+4. Moonshine, (and therefore Meds and bandages) Meals, and Vegis all use large amounts of water. When you have a base up and running, water becomes your biggest need. Scavenger: Boris, Marko, Pavle or Katia, Katia has the nod for best, because she can also double as a trader.Ģ. I tend toward completely peaceful playthroughs, so I focus on crafting and trading. I don't mind at all when Zlata shows up at the door.Īnton and Cveta are designed to be carried in the interest of adding game variation, Emilia too as far as I can tell as she doesn't really have any strengths. Also she manages down the sad and depressed states that can really damage your game sometimes. In combat her strike speed is higher than Marko, Pavle, Katia so she's better in combat situations. Marko not far off with 15-slot, but I like Boris for his combat skills as he hits hard.īut if combat, only place I've not tried clearing without roman is the military outpost, Boris and Katia can do the rest ok. Boris has that massive 17-slot pack, and with the other three, your house is built up and your trading game strong very quickly, so you can pretty much avoid most combat for the entire game, especially if you have trading at the garage and church. The 3 obvious ones (imo) for a 4 man team would be Roman only has 10 slots, so you have to leave him at home a lot, and only a matter of time before the 'Roman argued.', 'Roman fought with.' episodes, ending with sad and depressed characters at home and also woundings, so a big noooo to Roman. Don't suppose you could help me with this? I'm on day 11 and only have the 4 i started off with. I have the 10 people mod as well though it seems to not be working for me. So far Arica, Roman, Marko, Marin, Bruno, Forester, Katia, and Zlata covers all my needs. Of course, with the release of that "10 dweller" mod, I love experimenting with how many people can survive in a house and make it easy. The Forester character gives me plenty of wood and combustibles, which is SO useful because it keeps me from wasting wood on making combustibles, allows me to keep books (gotta fight off that Depression from all of Arica's/Marko's stealing), and allows me to clean up the places I scavenge and get some extra supplies. Marin reduces building costs, which is always my biggest issue. Marko has the extra bag space, which makes scavenging more efficient. Arica has a great combat ability but also has the sneaky ability, which makes stealing an absolutely breeze (she DESTROYS the Garage, which keeps me well-stocked).
